Green Tea
Green and Lemon
Combining the delicate, fresh taste of green tea with the zesty freshness of lemons, this tea is the perfect pick-me-up. The two distinctive flavours blend beautifully to create a light, refreshing drink.
Green tea, which is extremely popular in Japan and China, is believed to have a range of health benefits. Zen monks originally used green tea during long meditations to stay alert but calm.
As green tea and lemon both contain natural antioxidants, this tea is as good for the body as it is for the soul.
Green tea is best brewed with water just before it boils. Using water just below boiling temperature ensures the tea retains its delicate flavours and prevents any bitterness. Brew for 1 minute or longer if you like it strong. To sweeten add honey or sugar.
If you enjoyed Green Lemon, why not also try Green Mint - all the benefits of green tea but with the added soothing qualities of peppermint and spearmint.
