I'm Jo Rowland and I look after the blends for Australia, Poland and Russia. This involves tasting teas and choosing the right combinations for each blend as each of these countries prefer different types of tea.

It's my job to make sure that we provide the right black, green or flavoured product for each market. I also get involved in researching and creating new blends, working closely with the marketing team in each country, and the factory in Cochin, where our teas are blended and packed.

I joined Tetley 11 years ago after studying International Business. The ad sounded very intriguing and captured my interest - how great to be able to learn to taste tea! It hasn't disappointed and I still enjoy it. One of the best things about my job has to be the  variety involved - no two days are ever the same - and there is always something new to learn.

My favourite tea would have to be a high grown Ceylon because of its pungent flavour - it's great to drink in the afternoon - and the beautiful tea estates in Sri Lanka make it my favourite tea growing country.
