Hi I'm Zoë and I started as a Trainee Tea Taster here in November 2007...

If I'm honest, when I graduated in Politics last Summer I certainly didn't imagine I would be slurping and spitting tea on a daily basis a few months later but now I can't think of any other job I'd rather be doing...

Often people forget that tea is an agricultural product and the price, quality and quantity on offer changes weekly. We keep track of the weather and political conditions in all the tea growing countries and watch closely what happens in the weekly auctions around the world, (as well as buying a fair amount in them ourselves!)

Being a part of such a international industry is very exciting and I think many people would be surprised if they saw the complexity that goes on behind the scenes to bring them their daily cup of tea, I know I am certainly fascinated by everything I'm learning and I'm sure I'll still be feeling like that for years to come!
