I like to keep it simple, always black tea, bagged not loose, hot not iced, milk no sugar, and I’m definitely a mug man.
Wouldn’t settle for anything less unless I was trying to impress, in which case I would opt for my “Warning – Hot Stuff” mug!
Preparation stage is also crucial as it’s the challenge to see how far away from the mug I can stand and still throw the teabag in. Then hot water, quick stir, squeeze and a chat and then top up with milk only when the bag is removed.
I then sit back and let it cool before going anywhere near it.
I can’t start or even end my day without my “theanine fix” and I can get through around 2 pints a day! Some say that’s too much but guess that explains why I’m so alert in the workplace!
