Ingredients
- 5 Tetley Green Tea Mango & Passion Fruit tea bags
- 3 cups (750 mL) water
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) runny honey
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
- 3 cups mixed fruit (peaches, plums, apples, or berries), chopped
- 1 tsp (5 mL) lemon juice
Directions
- Brew the tea:
Bring water to a gentle simmer. Add the Tetley tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. - Create the syrup:
Stir honey and vanilla into the tea. Return to low heat until fully combined. - Poach the fruit:
Add the fruit and lemon juice. Simmer gently for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is tender but still holds its shape. - Cool and enjoy:
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm or chilled.
